Privacy Policy

How Pixentra collects, uses, protects, and retains personal information.

This public policy summarizes the data handling practices that support the Pixentra mobile app, website, upload portal, and related event-photo services. Last updated August 15, 2026.

Built for operational clarity

Pixentra does not sell personal data. Sensitive account actions such as deletion are verified before execution, and operational records are only retained where legal, accounting, security, or dispute obligations require it.

Overview

Pixentra collects limited personal information to operate the platform and deliver the services users expect.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account data such as name, email, optional phone number, and profile image.

  • Usage data such as device information, activity logs, and search behavior.

  • Content data such as uploaded photographs, user-initiated selfie images for face search, face-comparison vectors or feature data generated for matching, and related photo/search metadata.

  • Payment data handled through third-party processors such as Stripe. Pixentra does not store full credit card details.

2. How We Use Information

Pixentra uses collected data to operate the platform, maintain account access, process purchases, deliver photos, support event search tools, enforce safety rules, and improve product performance.

3. Cookies and Analytics

Pixentra may use analytics tools and cookies or similar technologies for performance monitoring, usage analytics, notifications, and security.

Analytics providers may include Firebase Analytics, PostHog, Sentry, and similar service providers. Users may disable cookies through browser settings on supported web experiences.

4. Sponsorship Analytics

When Pixentra displays an event sponsorship, Pixentra may record the campaign, event, placement, date and time, app platform and version, and whether an authenticated user viewed or opened the sponsor link.

Pixentra uses a campaign-scoped one-way account identifier to measure unique campaign reach without exposing the user’s name, email address, account ID, device identifier, or individual activity to the sponsor.

A sponsor may provide offer-code redemption files or send authenticated conversion postbacks containing a campaign code, external transaction reference, date, quantity, value, currency, offer code, and limited transaction metadata. Pixentra uses this information to verify aggregate campaign results and prevent duplicate conversion records.

Sponsor reports contain aggregate campaign reach, clicks, click-through rates, and verified conversion totals. Small audience segments are withheld to reduce the risk of identifying an individual user. Pixentra does not sell personal data or provide sponsors with user-level tracking records.

5. Data Sharing

Pixentra may share limited personal information with cloud infrastructure providers, payment processors, analytics services, authentication providers, notification services, and similar service providers needed to operate the platform.

Pixentra does not sell personal data.

6. User Rights

Depending on jurisdiction, users may request access to personal data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of their account.

Requests may be submitted to privacy@pixentra.co or through the verified account deletion options provided by Pixentra.

7. Facial Recognition and Biometric Search

Face search and biometric-style matching features are optional, require user action, and are used only to help users locate their own event photos.

When a user starts face search, Pixentra may process the selfie image the user captures or uploads, face-detection results, face-comparison vectors or feature data, and related event/photo search metadata.

Pixentra uses face data only to compare the user-initiated selfie against photos in the relevant event gallery and return possible matches to that user.

Pixentra does not use face data for identity verification, surveillance, advertising, profiling, or to identify users outside the user-initiated photo search experience.

Face data may be stored in Pixentra-controlled cloud infrastructure and processed by service providers that operate hosting, storage, image processing, security, and search systems for Pixentra. Pixentra does not sell face data or share it with photographers, other users, advertisers, or unrelated third parties.

Selfie images and face-comparison data are retained only as long as needed for the related user-initiated search experience, platform security, dispute handling, legal obligations, or verified user requests. Event photo-derived search data is retained only while the related event photos and search features remain available or while required for safety, dispute, legal, or operational obligations.

8. App Store Compliance

Pixentra complies with Apple App Store, Google Play, and similar marketplace guidelines. Optional facial recognition features are user-initiated and are used only for photo discovery.

9. Security and Retention

Pixentra uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information in transit and at rest.

Retention periods vary based on legal obligations, operational needs, dispute handling, safety reviews, and verified user requests.

Pixentra deletes or de-identifies data that is no longer required for the service once a verified deletion request is approved.

Payment, tax, receipt, payout, dispute, fraud-prevention, and compliance records may be retained for the period required by law or legitimate operational obligations.

Campaign contracts, invoices, aggregate sponsorship analytics, creative-version history, access records, audit history, and verified conversion records may be retained as business records after a campaign or event is archived.

10. Changes to This Policy

Pixentra may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
